“I am a travel and documentary photographer with a deep commitment to storytelling through imagery.

On October 9th, I attended a protest and realised that photos of the event didn’t fully convey the raw emotions of the event. This realisation inspired me to focus on capturing the deeper emotional essence of such moments, a skill I have worked hard to improve over the past year.

My political engagement began in 2003 when I joined the Stop the War march against the invasion of Iraq. In 2014, I documented a campaign addressing homelessness in Edinburgh, and until 2022, I worked on a project exploring the dichotomies of life in post-Soviet countries. My travels have taken me to 94 countries, including occupied Palestine, I seek to learn from cultures not just visit tourist locations.”

“Every sacrifice of every generation, strengthens the next.”
