“My contribution is a print celebrating the Palestinian folk dance, Dabkne. It is a beautiful and joyous line dance often performed at weddings, festivals, and gatherings. The image as a whole aims to encapsulate the beauty of Palestinian traditions and the hand textures represent humanity.”

“This collaborative collage celebrates Palestinian heritage and identity, blending tradition with resilience. Featuring Handala, created by Naji al-Ali, and the Lebanese flag, it symbolises solidarity and the enduring spirit of the Palestinian people.”

“This piece explores the mountain gazelle, Palestine’s national animal, which has come to symbolise peace, resilience, and national identity. The gazelle is framed by patterns derived from the traditional keffiyeh. The vertical fishnet motifs represent the deep connection to the sea, while the horizontal olive leaf patterns symbolise both the cultural and economic significance of the olive tree to Palestinians. The work draws inspiration from Palestinian artist Manal Mahamid, whose exploration of symbolism in the context of Palestinian heritage and resistance informed this piece.”
